Anadin Original Tablets
ANADIN Original tablets are pain-relieving medication containing the active ingredient Aspirin. Aspirin targets pain while also reducing fever and inflammation caused by Cold & Flu’s, Headache, Toothache, Period Pain, Muscular Aches, Sore Throat, Migraine, Rheumatic pain and Fever. Anadin Original also contains caffeine, which boosts the pain relieving effects of aspirin.

Anadin Original also contains caffeine, which boosts the pain relieving effects of aspirin.

Suggested Directions: Always read packaging and enclosed leaflet before use. If the person taking this medicine has any medical conditions or is taking other medication consult your pharmacist or doctor before use.
Dosage: Adults and children 16 and over: Take 1 or 2 tablets every 4 hours as required.
Do not exceed 12 tablets in 24 hours. For oral use.
Elderly patients are particularly susceptible to the adverse effects of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Unsupervised prolonged use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs in the elderly is not recommended.
Do not exceed the stated dose.
Not recommended for children under 16 years. There is a possible association between aspirin and Reye’s syndrome when given to children. Reye’s syndrome is a very rare disease, which can be fatal. For this reason aspirin should not be given to children aged under 16 years, unless on the advice of a doctor.
If symptoms persist or worsen beyond 3 days seek medical advice.
Ingredients: Active Ingredients: 325 mg of Aspirin (Acetylsalicyclic acid) and 15 mg of Caffeine.
Other ingredients include: Quinine sulfate, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Maize Starch, Calcium Stearate, Hypromellose and Macrogol.
What else to know:
Do not take ANADIN if you:
- are allergic any of the ingredients
- have or have ever had a stomach ulcer perforation or bleeding
- have or have ever had a bleeding disorder
- have severe liver or kidney problems
- are under 16 years of age
- have or have ever had severe heart failure or suffer from heart disease
- If you have glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G-6-PD) deficiency (a hereditary condition leading to low red blood cell counts).
