Cancelling/amending an order:
If you need to change details of your delivery address, remove items from your order or cancel it completely, please email our customer services team for advice at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include your order number and order date which you will find on your confirmation email. We can cancel an order up until it is dispatched. If your order has already been dispatched or delivered, then you’ll need to follow our Returns Procedure.
If you are not satisfied with your purchase and you wish to return an item, please let us know within 14 days from the date of receipt of your order that you wish to cancel the contract for this purchase by emailing our customer services team: email@example.com. Please include your order reference number and order date which you will find on your confirmation email. You then have another 14 days from the date you inform us of the cancellation to return the goods to us if you have already received them. In all cases the goods must be in their original condition and will be inspected on their return. We will refund back to the original method of payment charged only (e.g. credit card, debit card, gift voucher).
The cost of returning unwanted items or cancelling an order in your possession or dispatched is at your expense and as we do not offer a collection service you should use your own carrier. We recommend that you use a carrier who can give you a “Proof of Posting”, as until the parcel is received by us, it will remain your responsibility. If we do not receive the cancelled order back, we may arrange to have them collected at your cost. The cost of sending the item to you will be refunded, however, if only part of your order is cancelled, the delivery charge will not be refunded. Your rights remain the same for discount or sale items. Please note all applicable free gifts and samples supplied must also be returned with your order. If not we will make a discretionary deduction to cover our cost for these items.
If you return your purchase after this period but within 28 days, you will be refunded with a Lynch’s Pharmacy Electronic Voucher to the value of the returned items. Any goods returned more than 6 months after purchase, whether faulty or not, will not be refunded or replaced and the returned goods will be disposed of.

How do I return a faulty or damaged item?
If you think that a product you have purchased on www.lynchspharmacy.ie is faulty or defective, please contact us straight away within seven days of receipt of the item before returning the item. You can contact us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please accept our apologies if you have received a faulty or defective product. We review each case individually when considering the return of the product; in some cases we may require further information such as pictures so we can choose the best course of action. Our aim is to provide the best solution for you as quickly as possible.
Items received damaged or broken on delivery
Any breakages or damages must be reported to us within 24 hours of delivery. Contact our customer services team: email@example.com.
What should I do if I receive an incorrect item?
We have high standards when it comes to packaging your order however mistakes, do occur from time to time. Please accept our apologies if you have received an incorrect item. We review each case individually when considering the return of the product; in some cases we may require further information such as pictures so we can choose the best course of action. Our aim is to provide the best solution for you as quickly as possible.
Will you refund my postage costs to return an item?
Postage costs to return an item where the return is required due to our error will be refunded. For instance: If we sent you the wrong item and if the item is damaged or faulty. We will not refund postage costs to return items which are unwanted or no longer required. These costs will need to be covered by you. We will not refund postage costs to return any item due to reported damage or fault where no error was found in the testing process. Costs of posting the item back to you will depend on the item and will be communicated to you after the testing process has been completed.
Can I return an item to a store?
We do not accept store returns at this time.
Returning a gift
My item was a gift, what should I do? If you received an online product as a gift and you'd like to return or exchange it, please let us know by email and we will try our best to accommodate you: firstname.lastname@example.org
When will I receive my refund?
Once you cancel your order within 14 days following the date of receipt delivery and we receive your returned item within 14 days of your notification of cancellation we are happy to provide a refund provided the products are unopened, unused and in the original packaging. Please allow up to 7 days for refunds to show up on your account, from the date we receive your return. We will refund you by the same method the original payment was received (e.g. a credit card payment will be refunded back onto the same card).
Promotional and discounts returns
If you used a promotional discount when paying for your order, the discount is applied to each item in the basket. In the event of a return, you will not be refunded the discounted amount.
Proof of purchase
No refund or exchange will be given without a receipt, dispatch note or other proof of purchase.
Item not in stock
Normally all products on our website are held in stock, but on the rare occasion that an item is out of stock, we will contact you with the expected delivery time. Once your order is dispatched, you will receive an email from us with delivery information.
Taking care of our goods
You will naturally wish to inspect the products you order. However, whilst you are deciding whether to keep your purchases, you do have a statutory duty to take reasonable care of the goods. Therefore, please ensure you do not damage the items (or the packaging where it forms part of the goods, for example, boxed products and gift items) and, if you wish to return anything, that it reaches us in perfect condition. Where you have failed to take reasonable care of the goods, whether whilst in your possession or when returning them, we reserve the right to refund you in full less any amount due by way of compensation, to either repair the goods or to cover any loss.
The following items cannot be returned within the terms of our refund policy:
- • Lynch’s Pharmacy Gift Vouchers
- • Medicines
- • Pierced earrings
- • Hampers
- • Made-to-measure goods (such as personalised giftware)
- • Sale items except where required by law.
- • Free items
Other items may be added to this list from time to time. This does not affect your statutory rights in respect of faulty, incorrect or damaged goods.
In addition, the following items can only be returned within our refund policy providing it is in its original condition (including the packaging where it forms part of the goods, for example, boxed goods and gift items) and for hygiene or safety reasons have not been worn, opened, assembled or used and any seals on the product remain unbroken:
