Beconase Hayfever Nasal Spray for Adults is indicated for the treatment of seasonal allergic rhinitis (Hayfever) in adults aged 18 and over. Beconase Hayfever Nasal Spray provides symptomatic relief from nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, itchy nose, eye symptoms and associated sinus discomfort. Beconase Hayfever Nasal Spray contains a medicine called beclometasone dipropionate. This belongs to a group of medicines called steroids. Steroids work by reducing inflammation, they reduce swelling and irritation in your nose this helps to relieve itching, sneezing and your blocked or runny nose.

Suggested Directions: Always read packaging and enclosed leaflet before use. If the person taking this medicine has any medical conditions or is taking other medication consult your pharmacist or doctor before use.
For adults aged 18 or over: Two sprays into each nostril every morning and evening. Once your symptoms have improved you may be able to reduce the dose to one spray into each nostril morning and evening.
Do not use more than 8 sprays (400 micrograms) in a day.
Use the lowest dose possible to control your symptoms.
If your symptoms do not improve within 14 days, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
Do not use more than the recommended dose.
How to use:
- Shake the bottle well and remove the dust cap.
- Blow your nose gently.
- Close one nostril and put the nozzle in the other nostril. Tilt your head forward slightly and keep the bottle upright.
- Start to breathe in slowly through your nose. While you are breathing in, squirt a spray of fine mist into your nostril by pressing down firmly on the collar with your fingers.
- Remove the nozzle from this nostril and breathe out through your mouth.
- After using the spray, wipe the nozzle carefully with a clean tissue or handkerchief and replace the dust cap.
Ingredients: Active ingredients: Contains 50 micrograms Beclometasone Dipropionate per spray
Also contains: Microcrystalline Cellulose, Sodium Carboxymethylcellulose, Dextrose, Polysorbate 80, Purified Water, Preservatives: Benzalkonium Chloride, Phenylethylalcohol.
What else to know: Use within 3 months of first opening. Do not use for more than 3 months unless your doctor tells you to. Regular usage is essential for full therapeutic benefit. Beconase Hayfever quickly starts to bring relief and reduce swelling in the nose although it may take a few days to build up to its maximum effect. Contains a steroid.
