Suggested Directions: Always read packaging and enclosed leaflet before use. If the person taking this medicine has any medical conditions or is taking other medication consult your pharmacist or doctor before use.
- Dosage: Adults and children aged 12 years and over: Take two 5ml spoonfuls four times a day.
- Not suitable for children under 12 years.
- Do not take more than 4 doses in 24 hours. If symptoms persist or worsen, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
- Do not exceed the stated dose.
Ingredients: Each 5ml of cough syrup contains the active ingredient: Dextromethorphan hydrobromide 7.5mg.
Other ingredients include: Liquid glucose, sucrose, sodium benzoate, sorbitol, ethanol and sodium. This product contains 6 vol% ethanol.
What else to know: This medicine may cause drowsiness or dizziness. If affected, do not drive or operate machinery. Avoid alcoholic drinks.
Do not use with chronic cough such as occurs with smoking, asthma or emphysema or if the cough is accompanied by excessive phlegm, unless directed by a doctor. Do not take with any other cough and cold medicine.
