Hylo-Care Eye Drops
HYLO-Care is recommended for patients with severe dry eye or where there is an injury to the outside layer of the cornea. HYLO-CARE contains 0.1% Sodium Hyaluronate, a natural substance which has a long term moisturising effect due to its exceptional ability to bind and retain water. HYLO-CARE also contains 2% Dexpanthenol, a derivative of vitamin B5. When applied to the eye, Dexpanthenol is converted to pantothenic acid, which not only provides additional moisture but has also been shown to have a beneficial effect on wound healing in many studies. HYLO-CARE is an ideal alternative to night time ointments during the day.

Suggested Directions: Always read packaging and enclosed leaflet before use. If the person taking this medicine has any medical conditions or is taking other medication consult your pharmacist or doctor before use.
- Suitable for adults and children: Remove the cap before use. Before first use only, invert the bottle and pump the base until the first drop appears. The system is now ready for use.
- Place two fingers on the base of the bottle and your thumb on the shoulder, Pull down your lower eyelid. Tilt your head back and press on the base to release one drop. Apply three times daily but it can be used more often without hesitation in cases of more serious discomfort.
- For ocular use only.
- If symptoms persist or worsen, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
Ingredients: HYLO-Care contains two active ingredients: Sodium Hyaluronate and Dexpanthenol.
What else to know: Preservative free. Can be used for up to 6 months after opening. HYLO-Care is suitable for use with hard or soft contact lenses. However, there may be some smearing on the contact lenses that will disappear after blinking a few times. If your symptoms do not disappear then please contact your doctor immediately. If you are a contact lens wearer and you experience such a reaction, please check to see if there has been any change in your contact lens solution, as this may be the cause of the reaction.
