MacuShield Gold provides a fortified MacuShield formulation with added vitamins and minerals. Scientific research shows that the three nutrients; meso-zeaxanthin, lutein and zeaxanthin are found at the back of the eye, at the macula, where they form the macular pigment (yellow colour). Meso-zeaxanthin is particularly concentrated at the centre of this pigment. MacuShield Gold combines these three macular carotenoids in a formula containing meso-zeaxanthin, zinc to help maintain normal vision, copper, vitamin C and vitamin E, which contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.

MacuShield Gold is a three-a-day product. The 3 capsules can be taken together, or separately throughout the day but we always recommend taking them with a meal.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

Meso-Zeaxanthin: 10mg, Lutein: 10mg, Zeaxanthin: 2mg, Zinc: 25mg, Vitamin C: 500mg, Vitamin E: 268mg, Copper: 2mg.
Other ingredients: L-Ascorbic Acid,capsule shell (gelling agent: bovine gelatin, humectant: glycerol, colours: red iron oxide E172, titanium dioxide E171), d-alpha tocopherol, bulking agent: sunflower seed oil, marigold extract (lutein, meso-zeaxanthin, zeaxanthin), zinc sulphate monohydrate, thickener: silicon dioxide, emulsifier: sunflower lecithin, copper sulphate anhydrous.
