Suggested Directions: Always read packaging and enclosed leaflet before use. If the person taking this medicine has any medical conditions or is taking other medication consult your pharmacist or doctor before use.
- Shake the bottle well before measuring the dose
- Suitable for babies from 3 months old and weighing over 5kg.
- Please use the syringe spoon provided.
- Doses should be given approximately every 6 to 8 hours.
- Do not dose more frequently than 6 hour intervals
- For short time use only and do not exceed the stated dose.
- Please consult your doctor if symptoms persist or worsen more than 3 days.
Child Age & Weight:
- 3 months - 6 months (5-7.6kg) one 2.5ml dose 3 times in 24 hours
- 6 months- 12 months (7.7-9kg) one 2.5ml dose 3 times in 24 hours
- 1 years -3 years (10 - 16kg) one 5ml dose 3 times in 24 hours
- 4 - 6 years (17 -20kg) one 7.5ml (5ml+2.5ml) dose 3 times in 24 hours
- 7 - 9 years (21 - 30kg) one 10ml dose 3 times in 24 hours
- 10 - 12 years (31 - 40 kg) one 15ml (Three 5ml spoonful) dose 3 times in 24 hours
Ingredients: Contains 100 mg of ibuprofen per 5 ml dose. Purified water, Glycerol, Citric Acid, Sodium Citrate, Sodium Chloride, Sodium Saccharin, Orange Flavour (containing wheat starch), Xanthan Gum, Polysorbate 80, Domiphen Bromide, Maltitol Syrup.
What else to know: Nurofen for Children liquid suspension is sugar and colour free. Do not give to children who:
- Are under 3 months old or weigh less than 5kg
- Have or have had stomach ulcers or other serious stomach disorders
- Suffer a worsening of asthma due to aspirin or other similar medicines
- Are sensitive to any ingredients
