Nurofen Express Maximum Strength 400mg Tablets contain ibuprofen (as sodium dihydrate) which has anti-inflammatory properties that’s effective for a wide range of mild to moderate aches and pains. The sodium formulation is absorbed up to twice as fast as standard ibuprofen.

Information
Suggested Directions: Take with water.
- Adults and children from 12 years: Take 1 tablet with water, up to 3 times a day if required. Leave at least 4 hours between doses (maximum 3 tablets in 24 hours).
- Do not give Nurofen Express Tablets to children under 12 years.
- Do not dose more frequently than 4 hour intervals.
- For short time use only and do not exceed the stated dose.
- Please consult your doctor if symptoms persist or worsen more than 3 days.
Ingredients: Each tablet contains Ibuprofen 400mg. Sodium: 55.89mg (2.43mmol) per tablet. Sucrose: 186.2mg per tablet.
Other Ingredients: Croscarmellose sodium (E468), magnesium stearate (E572), xylitol (E967), sucrose, titanium dioxide (E171), microcrystalline cellulose (E460), colloidal anhydrous silica (E551),carmellose sodium (E466), talc (E553b), acacia spray dried (E414), macrogol 6000 powder, red printing ink containing shellac, iron oxide red (E172), propylene glycol (E1520), ammonium hydroxide (E527) and simethicone.
What else to know: Do not take Nurofen Express Maximum Strength 400mg Tablets if you:
- are allergic to ibuprofen or any of the other ingredients (see below) or to aspirin or other painkillers
- have ever had a stomach ulcer, perforation or bleeding
- have had a worsening of asthma, skin rash, itchy runny nose or facial swelling when previously taking ibuprofen, aspirin or similar medicines
- have had gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation when previously taking NSAIDs (Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs)
- are taking other NSAIDs (Non-Steroidal Anti-inflammatory Drugs)
- are taking more than 75mg of aspirin a day. If you are on low-dose aspirin (up to 75mg daily) speak to your doctor or pharmacist before you take this medicine
- have severe liver or kidney problems
- have heart problems, high blood pressure or blood coagulation disorder
- have breathing difficulties
- are under 12 years old.
Check with your pharmacist or your doctor before taking this product if you:
- have or have had asthma
- have kidney, heart, liver or bowel problems
- have high cholesterol or previously have had a heart attack or stroke
- have a history of gastrointestinal disease (such as ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease)
- have Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (a condition of the immune system causing joint pain skin changes and other organ disorders)
- are a smoker
- if you are pregnant or breastfeeding
