Paralink 180mg Suppositories
Paralink Suppositories contain the active ingredient paracetamol. Paracetamol is a pain killer and can reduce high temperatures (fever). It provides effective relief of fever and pain associated with colds and flu, headaches, rheumatism and teething. Paralink 180mg Suppositories can be used in children from 3 months to 6 years of age. It is a smooth, white, tapered cylindrical medicine which is inserted into the back passage (rectum) and is recommended for use in children who may find it difficult to take paracetamol by mouth.

Suggested Directions:Always read packaging and enclosed leaflet before use. If the person taking this medicines has any medical conditions or is taking other medication consult your pharmacist or doctor before use.
Wash your hands. Peel the wrapping of the suppository from its mould. The child should lie on their front or their side or whatever is more comfortable. If necessary, moisten the tip of the suppository, then gently push it into the child's rectum (back passage). Try to keep your child still for a minute or two. Wash your hands again.
Recommended Dosage:
- 3 months – 1 year (5-10kg): half suppository
- 1-3 years – (10-15kg): 1 suppository
- 3-6 years (15-20kg): 1 and a half suppositories
Doses may be repeated 6 hourly as necessary or as directed by the physician.
Do not give more than 4 doses in any 24 hours.
Do not exceed the stated dose.
Immediate medical advice should be sought in the event of overdosage.
If symptoms persist, consult your doctor. Do not give this medicine to your child for longer than 3 days.
Not recommended for babies under 3 months.
Ingredients: Each suppository contains 180mg of the active ingredient paracetamol. Other ingredients: Hard fat and macrogol stearate.
What else to know: Contains Paracetamol. Do not take any other paracetamol containing products.
