Information
Suggested Directions: Always read packaging and enclosed leaflet before use. If the person taking this medicine has any medical conditions or is taking other medication consult your pharmacist or doctor before use.
- Adults and children over 12 years: Dissolve one lozenge slowly in the mouth every 3 to 6 hours as required.
- To avoid any local irritation, it is a good idea to move it around the mouth while sucking.
- No more than five lozenges should be taken in a 24 hour period, for a maximum of three days.
- Do not exceed the stated dose.
- If symptoms persist, have not improved, or have worsened after 3 days, consult a doctor or pharmacist.
Ingredients: Each lozenge contains the active ingredient flurbiprofen 8.75mg.
Also contains macrogol 300, potassium hydroxide, orange flavour, levomenthol, acesulfame potassium, FD&C yellow No.6, liquid maltitol and isomalt.
What else to know: Do not take if:
- You have or have ever had a stomach ulcer.
- You are allergic to flurbiprofen, aspirin or NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) or any of the other ingredients. You have ever had wheezing, a runny nose or an itchy rash (hives) after taking flurbiprofen or other NSAIDs.
- You have previously experienced gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation whilst taking NSAIDs.
- You have ever had heart failure.
